Jeffery “Jeff” Johnson Boswell, 65, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Alamance Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Alamance County, but resided most of his life in Caswell County, he was the son of the late Clarence Walters Boswell and Bettie Johnson Boswell who survives.
Jeff was the owner of Boswell Trucking, Inc. for over 15 years. He enjoyed his work and the ability it gave him to give back to his community. He was a very generous with his time and abilities and was always proud to be there for his friends and family whenever they needed him. He loved classic cars and enjoyed attending cruise-ins and local car shows. He was a member of Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church and former fire fighter for the Anderson Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his daughter; Shannon Pointer and husband, John, mother; Bettie Johnson Boswell, granddaughters; Bliss Pointer, Ivy Boswell and Lily Boswell. He enjoyed the time he spent with his numerous cousins and special friend Jill Radcliffe. Jeff was preceded in death by his son; Terry Joe Boswell and his father; Clarence Walters Boswell.
There will be a graveside service at Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1:00 for the immediate family only. The family does invite extended family and friends to attend “cruise-in” style, driving their hot rods, staying in their cars and listening from there. Immediately following the graveside, the family will greet people during a “drive by” visitation- in the church parking lot. The family will host a celebration of life at a later date, when it is safe for all of his friends and family to gather.
