Jeanette Apple

Jeanette Saul Apple, 78, formerly of Haw River passed away Monday at Alamance Health Care following several months of failing health. She was the wife of the late Ray Addison Apple and was born September 4, 1932 in Alamance County to the late Addison Yarbrough Saul, Sr. and Ruth Smithey Saul. Jeanette was a member of Bible Baptist Church where she was very active at the church. She was the organist and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her sons; Addison "Lynn" Pam Apple of Elon, David Dale Apple, Sr. of Yanceyville, grandchildren; Matthew Apple, Joshua Apple, David Apple, Jr. and fianc Christin Atwater, Ashley Mark Wrenn, great grandchildren; Makayla Wrenn and Alex Wrenn. She is also survived by her sisters; Shirley Ward, Mary Garland Beale, Patsy Leon Haizlip all of Elon, brothers; Levi Alene Saul of Elon and Bill Ida May Saul of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister Alice Vaughn and a brother Addison "A.Y." Saul, Jr. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Bible Baptist Church by Dr. Mark Aheron. Interment will follow in the Apple Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of her son Lynn Apple 2439 Moss Creek Loop Rd., Elon.
