Burlington, NC Jeanette "Jean" Verdicchio De Angelo, 92, of Engleman Ave. passed away Friday August 31, 2007 at Alamance Health Care Center after a period of decling health. Mrs. De Angelo was born March 8, 1915 in Hoboken, New Jersey to the late Andrew Verdicchio and Terressa D' Amico Verdicchio. She was the widow of the late Russell James De Angelo, Sr. and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Russell J. De Angelo and his wife Anne of Burlington, and James R. De Angelo and his wife Eileen of Burlington; five grandchildren, Kevin De Angelo, Deborrah Murray, Russell De Angelo, III, Michelle De Angelo Quinn, and Chris De Angelo; nine great grandchildren, Aerial De Angelo, Hannah De Angelo, Noah De Angelo, Jacob De Angelo, Garrett De Angelo, David Quinn, Emma Elizabeth Quinn, Camryn Murray, and Dustin Adams. Mrs. De Angelo was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Alamance Health Care for the wonderful care they gave Mrs. De Angelo during her illness.
