Jayme Belonge

Graham-Jayme Michael Belonge, 23, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2019 at UNC Hospital surrounded by his family.

Jayme was a 2014 graduate of Southern Alamance High School where he was a member of the Golf Team. He was a member of the Gospel of Christ Church in Elon. Jayme worked over the past several years for Jim’s Hotdogs and Graham Furniture Mart. Jayme enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and a diehard Duke Blue Devil Fan.

Survivors include his father, Jayme Phillip Belonge and wife, Danielle of Snow Camp; mother, Karen Watkins Belonge and her fiancé, Benny Hicks of Graham; sister, Hannah Belonge of Graham; step sister, Karsen Kernodle of Snow Camp; step brothers, Justin McCormick of Snow Camp and Kaleb Florence of Burlington; maternal grandmother, Gloria Watkins of Graham; aunts and uncles, Patsy and Robert Lowe and Billy and Angie Watkins all of Graham ; a special cousin, Kaitlyn Watkins of Graham and his canine companion, "Silvia".

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Watkins and paternal grandparents, Phil and Judy Belonge.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00AM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Robert Lowe. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Monday at the funeral home and other times at the home of his father.
