Jason D. Hinshaw

Jason D. Hinshaw, 36, of Burlington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

Jason was born May 15, 1986 in Alamance County to Gilmer and Debbie Hinshaw.  He worked for many years at the family business, Hinshaw Tile, where he learned his trade working side by side with his father.  He had a talent for tilework but was naturally gifted at many other trades as well.  He spent several years drag racing and loved to go golfing.  A big UNC fan, he could often be found cheering on his beloved Tarheels.  Jason was big-hearted jokester but above everything in life, his favorite title was “Dad” to his beloved daughter, Eleanora.

Jason is survived by his daughter, Eleanora Ray Hinshaw; parents, Gilmer and Debbie Hinshaw; sister, April Hinshaw Javois and husband Randall; and grandmother, Dorothy Hinshaw.

A celebration of Jason’s life will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 12 noon at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will greet friends immediately following the service.  Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
