Janice Jackson Foulks

Burlington – Janice Jackson Foulks, 75, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Hospice Home.  She was born in Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Walter Stephen Jackson and Essie Dollar Jackson.  She was married for over 30 years to Curtis Wayne Foulks who survives. 

She was a longtime member of Bethel United Methodist Church now known as Faith Christian Church.  Janice was a former payroll clerk at West Point Pepperell. She was secretary for Alamance County Bee Keepers Association for many years and was very crafty weaving beautiful baskets, quilting, baking cakes and making candy.  Janice loved music and going out to eat with family and friends.

Survivors other than her husband, Wayne include her daughters, Tracy Miller (Tony) and Vanessa Darlene Woods; grandchildren, Dusten Edelen, Grayson Woods and Claire Woods; great grandson, Zayne Jackson; a brother, Walter “Buster” Jackson; nieces and nephews, Sherri Kolivoski (Stephen), Denise, Kelly, Tamara, Steve and Erin.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jeannie Fogleman.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 4:00pm Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Faith Christian Church by Rev. Reid Dickens and Rev. Mark Clark.  The burial will follow at Bethel Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service.
