Janice Faye Mills Ely, 67, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Timothy Alexander "Buddy" Ely and daughter of the late I.B. Mills, Sr. and Frances Coleen Barts Mills.
She retired as manager of Dollar General Store and later worked at O.T. Sports and she was a member of The Wine Press.
Survivors include her daughter, Crystal Ellington (Mike Coley) of Snow Camp; son, J.T. Hunley (Melonie) of Caswell County; step daughter, Jennifer Suggs of Willard; grandchildren, R. J. Jones, Jade Parrish, Justin and Amber Hunley, George, Christy, Adam, Bubba and Tamara Suggs; great grandchild, Ayden Long; sisters, Wanda Coggins (Walter) of Burlington and Judy Jungermann (George) of Mebane; brothers, Bill Mills (Kay) of Burlington, I. B. Mills, Jr. (Delores) of Graham and her beloved dog Sadie. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Tammy Hunley, granddaughter Angel Jones and sister, Vickie Mills.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00PM Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the Memorial Service. At other times at the home.
