Janice Dameron

Janice Massey Dameron, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 13, 2018 at her home after several years of failing health. She was born in Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Calvin Clarence and Ruby Reagan Massey. She was married for 54 years to Dwight Wilson Dameron who survives. She was formerly employed by LabCorp and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Janice was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Dwight; children, Penny Dameron, Tim Dameron, Paul (Amy) Dameron and Teresa Dameron; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; sisters, Gwynn Teer, Nancy Willis, Debbie Bradshaw, Kathy Massey and Jeanette Wright and a brother, Bobby Massey. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Glenn Dameron.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Terry Presslar with interment to follow in the Dameron Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home.
