Janet Wagoner

Janet Thompson Wagoner, 71, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Twin Lakes. She was born in Halifax County and was the daughter of the late Johnny W. Thompson and Mildred Carroll Thompson Pharr. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she also served as nursery caretaker for several years. She enjoyed writing poems, always had a smile on her face and truly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Wagoner Cody; son, Darin R. Wagoner; grandchildren, Brooke Cody, Madison Wagoner and Kimber Carson; long-time companion, James Gurganious; sister, Susie (Joe) Coleman and brothers, Jamie Pharr and Wayne (Kay) Thompson.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM Thursday prior to the service and other times at the home of her daughter, Tammy and Wayne, 102 Gold Dust Trail, Reidsville.
