James Tyler Strader

Burlington- James Tyler Strader, 21, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019.  He was born on January 19, 1998 in Danville, VA to Larry Dwayne Strader and Jennifer McKinney Clapp.

Tyler worked for K & K Landscaping after graduating from Bartlett Yancey High School.  He loved all things outdoors including, fishing, deer hunting and playing with his dogs.  Tyler was known for his love of helping people.  He was also a member of Baynes Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include his father and step-mother; Larry and Sharon Strader, mother and step-father; Jennifer and Stephen Clapp, Paternal Grandparents; Randy and Brenda Gregory and Lawrence Wayne and Ruby Strader, Maternal Grandparents; Ira “Papa-D” and Hope McKinney and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.  He was preceded in death by his great grandparents; James and Nina Moore.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 26, 2019 at Baynes Baptist Church by Rev. Scott Ingram.  The family will receive friends from 5- 7 PM on Thursday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
