James "Pee Wee" Bunn

Ruffin-James “Pee Wee” Eugene Bunn, 62, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 at his home. He was born in Alamance County to the late James Eugene Bunn, Sr. and Marie Somers Bunn.

James retired from Burlington Industries, Williamsburg Plant after many years of service. He was a talented softball player playing in several leagues. James was an avid fisherman and enjoyed growing vegetable’s which he shared with his neighbors.

Survivor include his sons, Kevin Bunn and wife, Chasity of Gibsonville and Keith Bunn and wife, Heather of Danville, VA; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bunn, Austin Bunn, Faith Basham, Remington Bunn and Della Rae Bunn; sisters, Glenda Bunn and companion, Jackson McSherry of Milton and Brenda Rowsey of Florida; brothers, Pete Bunn of Hickory and Randall Bunn of Alamance; mother of his sons, Teresa Smith and husband, Tim of Caswell County and like a daughter, Lindsey Smith of Alamance.

A service to Celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:00m at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Kevin Bunn. A reception will follow for family and friends at Bible Baptist Church in the fellowship hall.
