James Teer

James Edward Teer, 84, of Gibsonville passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at his daughter's home. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Herbert and Hilda Teer and was married to the late Cora Foust Teer. He was a retired truck driver for Stadler's Country Ham and was a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Loy and her husband, David, of Burlington, Denise Dew and her husband, Richard of Gibsonville, and Shelby Moize of Burlington; a son, James Edward Teer, Jr. of Gibsonville; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a sister, Patsy Teer Riggins of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents. The family will receive friends at the daughter's home, Denise Dew, 401 Piedmont Ave., Gibsonville.
