James Teague

James Allen Teague, 56 passed away Monday September 12, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital following several years of failing health. He was born November 5, 1954 to the late Loyd Allen and Mary Lou Loftis Teague. James served in the US Army and was retired from NCDMV after thirty years of service. He served on the Board of Trustees for The State Employees Credit Union and was a member of Stony Creek Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his daughter Elizabeth "Lisa" Radford of Mebane, granddaughters; Lauren Radford, Ada Radford, a sister Terri Teague Rose and her husband Leonard of Elon, brothers; Leon Teague of Haw River and Randy Teague and his wife Anna Mooneyham Teague of Cameron, NC. he was preceded in death by his parents and a infant son Jeffrey Teague. The funeral will be held 1:00 PM Thursday at Stony Creek Presbyterian Church by Rev. Ken Hickey. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of his sister 2815 Springfield Dr. , Elon.
