James Moss

Whitsett James Clint Moss; age 59, of 520 N.C. 100, passed away Monday February 6, 2006 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro. A native of Alamance County, he was the husband for over 38 years of Martha Leach Moss and son of Martha Odom Moss who survives and the late James Harding Moss. Mr. Moss was an Independent Christian and was the Southeastern Sales Representative for Sunnen Products Co. James was a US Navy veteran serving with the Seabees during the Vietnam War. He was an active fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis, organizing and participating in many bicycle races. Survivors include his wife Martha Leach Moss of the home; daughter, Christy Lynette Moss of Whitsett; 2 granddaughters, Sierra Stewart and Hannah Nolan; mother, Martha Odom Moss of Elon; 4 brothers, Michael Moss and wife Loretta, David Moss and wife Glenda, Danny Moss and wife Melissa and Mark Moss and wife Marie all of Burlington; 2 sisters, Myra Brown and husband Danny of Graham, Robyn DosSantos and husband Luis of Deltona, FL; and 10 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday February 9, 2006 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tim Stevens.
