James McGhee

Mr. James "Jim" Edward McGhee, 96, of 302 Somers Ave passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008 at his residence. Mr. McGhee was born September 17, 1911 in Brights, Virginia to the late General Lee and Simena Metts McGhee. Jim was the husband of the late Kathleen Virginia Kiser McGhee, retired from maintenance work, and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and many friends. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
