James Justice

James Rodney Justice, 59, went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2017 at UNC Hospital. A native of Alamance County, He was the son of the late Coy Lee Justice, Sr. and the Mary Jane Waddell Justice who survives. He was the husband for 22 years of the late Paula Keys Justice who died July 5th of last year.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church and a member of the American Legion Posts 63 and a member of the Sons of American Legion. He served in the US Navy during the Persian Gulf War and Desert Storm. He was a wonderful husband, and father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother; children, Carol Straughan and husband Brian, Dawn Marin, Tabatha Boteler husband Kenny Davis and Danny Straughan, Jr.; brother, Coy Lee Justice, Jr. and wife, Dana, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, father and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, at Mt. Zion Christian Church by Dr. Rick Webster, pastor. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery.
Mr. Justice will remain at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6-8pm Friday.
