James Hinton

James Jimmy Winston Hinton, age 61, of Brightwood Church Road went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 22, 2007. He was a native of Guilford County and the son of the late Jack Anthony Hinton and Lucille Trogdon Hinton. Jimmy was the former owner and operator of City Barbershop in Gibsonville and a member of Brightwood Christian Church. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. Survivors include his loving companion of many years, Faye Greeson of Gibsonville; son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Kera Hinton of Elon; granddaughters, Sarah and Caroline Hinton; sisters, Monte Tickle of Gibsonville; Mary Trogdon Hinton of Greensboro; brother, Joe Hinton of Dobson, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Hal and George Hinton. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Gene Beaver. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and other times at the home of the son, 705 Brookview Drive, Elon, NC 27244.
