James Flynn

James Richard "Jimmy" Flynn, age 68, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Guilford County, he was the son of the late Paul James and Janie Hughes Flynn. He was a member of the Gibsonville United Methodist Church, a retired employee of Golden Rule Plastics and a former member of the National Guard. Survivors include his son, James Brandon Flynn and wife Amanda of Gibsonville; daughter, Kimberly Rene Flynn King and significant other, Doug Nelson of Orlando. FL; brother, R. Deleno Flynn of Whitsett; grandchildren, Bryleigh Flynn, Adiken Flynn, Danny Flynn, Michael Shane King and Chris King; great grandchildren Caleb King and Michael King, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday January 16, 2011 at the Gibsonville United Methodist Church by Rev. Jonathan Marlowe. Interment will follow in the Gibsonville City Cemetery. Mr. Flynn will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service.
