James Fitch

Mr. James Edwin Fitch, 77, of 1895 Rascoe Dameron Rd. passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mr. Fitch was born February 8, 1930 in Caswell County to the late Abner Swift and Lizzie Mae Boswell Fitch. He was retired from Burlington Industries after many years of service, was a member of Bethel Christian Church and he and his wife attended Pleasant View Assembly Of God. Survivors include his wife, Hilda Faye Lowery Fitch of the home; a daughter, Linda Faye Fitch Jones and her husband Ronnie of Monroe; two granddaughters, Heather Danielle Jones and Michelle Nicole Nicki Jones; a step grandson, James Jamie Bradley Jones; four sisters, Elsie Fitch of Graham, Frances Richardson and her husband John of Lewisburg, W. Va., Lorine Totten of Burlington and Shirley Moore and her husband Jerry of Burlington. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Bethel Christian Church by Rev. Barry Lane pastor of the church and Rev. Gary Loftis pastor of Pleasant View Assembly Of God. Burial will follow in the Bethel Christian Church Cemetery.
