James Ferrell

James Frederick "Jim" Ferrell, 81, of Burlington, died on Saturday, November 5, 2011. He was the husband of over 59 years to E. W. Ferrell and the son of Ike and Ollie Ferrell, both deceased. He was retired from Kayser-Roth and Monarch Hosiery. Survivors include his wife of the home; daughter, Elaine Hall and husband Bill of Haw River; sons, Wilson Ferrell and wife Peggy of Raleigh and Wray Ferrell and wife Lu of Cary; ten grandchildren, James Satterfield, Elise Satterfield, Wil Ferrell, Jason Ferrell, Grace Ferrell, Kayla Ferrell, Ricky Ferrell, Elijah Ferrell, Kiara Ferrell and Will Hall and one great grandson, Kadden Satterfield. The funeral service will held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1126 West Webb Avenue, Burlington at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 8, 2011 with the family receiving friends from 10:00 10:45 AM prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 1126 West Webb Avenue, Burlington, NC 27215. The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the nurses and staff at Alamance Regional Medical Center and the Cancer Center who took such good care of Mr. Ferrell.
