James Fecile

Liberty, NC James "Jim" Anthony Fecile, age 65 passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Beacon Place. He was born in New York City, NY and lived in Sparta, New Jersey for 37 years. He recently moved to Liberty, NC. Jim retired from the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers after 16 years as Senior Project Manager. His hobbies included Little League Baseball Manager and he ran the Girl's Softball League for several years in Sparta. He was Cub Master for Pack 150 and he enjoyed playing golf. Jim was an avid fan of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees and the love of his life was his family especially his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol Fecile of the home; son, James Fecile and his wife, Gina of Selden , New York and a daughter, Lisa Freitas and her husband, Al of Liberty; grandchildren, Zakary and Jenna Fecile, Colton, Hunter and Tucker Freitas; brother, Louis Fecile and his wife, Patricia of Greensboro; sisters, Marianne DeCesare of Palisades Park, New Jersey, Lorraine Ragazzo and her husband, Tony of Fairfield, New Jersey and many special nieces and nephews and a special adopted family, Debbie, Bob, Michael and Katie Reidmiller. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis John Fecile, Sr. and Anna Maria Nasta Fecile. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Rev, Paul Gabriel, O.F.M. Conv. and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 pm and 6 until 8 pm on Friday, May 11, 2012 with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake in Sparta with a Repass at Sparta Ambulance Building.
