James Faulkner

James Thomas Faulkner, 79, of Burlington passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born in Alamance County to the late Walter James and Wilma Sumner Faulkner and was married to the late Hilda Jean Morgan Faulkner. Mr. Faulkner was a member of Staley Memorial Baptist Church. He retired from Burlington Industries and he loved buying and selling antiques. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Betty Faulkner of Burlington; niece, Karen Faulkner and nephew, Kirk Faulkner, both of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sisters, Marydell Chambers, Josephine Brown, and Edith Berry and brothers, Ernest and Donald Faulkner. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bennie Smith with interment to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45 1:45 Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. The Faulkner family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the nurses and staff at Alamance Regional Medical Center who took such good care of Mr. Faulkner.
