James Faucette

James Howard Faucette, 84, of Burlington passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Alamance Regional Medical Center due to complications from surgery. He was born in Alamance County to the late Henry Clifton and Bessie Perry Faucette and was married to the late Betty Whitesell Faucette. He retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco Company. Howard enjoyed fishing, wood-working and flower gardening. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his son, Bill Anne Faucette of Graham; grandchildren, Brian Mary Faucette of Graham, Jason Eunisse Thomas of Graham, Jeremy Darcy Thomas of Snow Camp; great grandchildren, Berkley and Linen Faucette, Noah and Alison Thomas and a brother, Gary Pat Faucette of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, son, James Robert "Bob" Faucette, brother, Alton Faucette and a sister, Darlyne Thompson. The graveside service will be held at 3:00 Sunday at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Clarence Toney. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
