James Coble

James Harold Coble, age 73, of 6869 Holt Store Rd., passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Peak Resources in Graham. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Paul Monroe and Mable Lou Sharpe Coble. He was a retired home builder and concrete contractor, a member of Gibsonville Baptist Church, a former member of Alamance County Bass Masters and a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his daughters, Tina Coble Beasley and husband Eric of Richmond, VA and Ginger Leigh Payne of Mt. Pleasant, SC; son, James Brant Coble of Burlington; sisters, Ruth Brown and husband C.E. Brown, Helen Swinson and Sue Coble, all of Burlington; brothers, P.J. Coble and wife Donna of Burlington and Steve Coble of Wilmington. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 11, 1014 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. William L. Baker. Mr. Coble will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service and the family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home following the service. At other times the family will be at the home of the son, 6869 Holt Store Rd. Burlington. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Alamance Humane Society; 2444 Tribek Ct. Burlington, NC 27215.
