James Clark

James "Jimmy" Willard Clark, 82, passed away Monday September 11, 2017 at the Hospice Home. He was born September 16, 1934 in Alamance County to the late John William and Lucy Ellington Clark and was married to Fannie Dawson Clark for sixty-two years. Jimmy retired from Sandvik and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed rabbit hunting, listening to the beagles run and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. He was known for his dry humor and quips of wisdom. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife Fannie Clark; daughter, Cheryl (Mel) Aldridge; son, Kenneth (Denise) Clark; grandchildren, Chris Clark, Tim Clark, Meredith (Kenneth) Fuqua, Max Hodge; a great granddaughter Little Miss Piper Fuqua; a brother Keith (Barbara) Clark and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kathy Clark Fogleman; a sister Lois Catherine Barber; brothers, Joe Clark and Jack Clark and several half brothers and sisters.

The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Jackson, interment will follow at Belmont Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home.
