James Kenneth Bryant, 77, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Durham surrounded by his family. A native of Alamance County, he was born December 16, 1938 to the late James Patrick and Mildred Jackson Bryant. Kenneth retired after 28 years with Flynt Fabrics. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the American Legion Post #63. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his daughter, Natalie Renee Flores and husband, Arturo Lenin Flores of Rose Hill, NC; grandchildren, Ashley D. Norris and husband, Hunter of Elizabethtown, NC, Casey Musa and huband, Francisco of Boca Raton, Fl; stepdaughter, Tina Walshe and husband Frank of Galway, Ireland; step grandchildren, Erin, Joshua and Jacob Walshe; great grandchild, Keatyn Norris; sister, Gwendolyn Moore of Burlington and brothers, Jerry Bryant of Burlington and Gerald Bryant of Graham. He is preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Michael Moore; sister, Diane Dodson and great grandchildren, Hayden and Skyler Shaw. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Darryl Peebles and the family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. The US Air Force will provide military honors at the service.
