James Bridges

James "Jimmy" Gary Bridges, 66, went home to be with Jesus, Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Hospice Home following several months of failing health. He was born October 2, 1945 in Alamance County to the late Roley and Margaret King Bridges. James was a retired self-employed painter and a member of Lowe Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include his sisters, Frances Larry Aldridge, Shelby Bill Coleman all of Burlington, Nancy McNeill of Southport, brothers; Johnny Medley and Joe Bridges both of Burlington, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Patricia Kolz. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Lowe Memorial Baptist Church by Rev. William Gindlesperger, interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and other times at their own homes.
