James Ball

Graham-James "Ronnie" Ball, 76, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017. He was the husband of 57 years to Lillian Whitt Ball who survives.
Ronnie retired from Overnite Transportation/UPS after many years. He enjoyed Nascar and was an avid UNC "Tar Heel" Fan. Ronnie enjoyed farming and loved animals. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Whitt Ball of the home; son, Anthony ‘Tony" R. Ball of Graham; granddaughter, Chandra Alexis Neal and husband, Jason of Graham; great grandchildren, Logan, Peyton and Alyssa Neal; sisters, Shirley Smith of Richmond, VA, Phyllis Stilwell and husband, Hobart of Tazewell, VA, Sue Newberry of Richlands, VA, Judy Bales of Richlands, VA and Connie Hutchens and husband, Marvin of South Carolina; brothers, Don Ball and wife, Linda of Greensboro, NC and Dean Ball and wife, Louise of Swords Creek, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Lenward and Marjorie Helen Webb Ball.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 pm prior to the services at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
