Jackie White

Mrs. Jackie Ann Binkley White, age 77, of 313 Pine St., left Liberty Commons on February 4, 2014 at 6:48 AM and embarked on her greatest journey to meet her Lord in Heaven. Born in Ashland City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Eugene E. Binkley and the late Carrie Lee Mosley Binkley and was married for over 58 years to Ernest C. White, Jr., who survives. Jackie was a longtime homemaker and a member of Low's Lutheran Church. She loved giving of her time and was a volunteer for several organizations, including the Red Cross in both New Mexico and California, Access Meals on Wheels, Alamance Caring and Sharing, ARMC Auxiliary, DAV Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and the Air Force Sergeants Auxiliary, and was a former member of the Gibsonville BPW, Friend of Rose Garden Club in Gibsonville and Allied Churches of Alamance County. Mrs. White is survived by her husband of the home; son, Ernest C. White, III and his wife, Melinda, of Gibsonville; daughter, Tracye W. Hall and her husband, Dana, of Greensboro; five grandchildren, Ben Stewart, Christopher White, Nicholas Stewart, Samantha A. Magdarz, and husband, Brandon, and A.J. White; two step grandchildren, AnnMarie Hall and James Hall; sisters-in-law in Gibsonville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; eight sisters; and two brothers. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Low's Lutheran Church by Rev. John Mark Beam, III. The family will receive friends at the residence.
