Jackie Shephard

Jackie Coley Shephard, 84, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Alamance Regional Medical Center following a short illness. She was born May 28, 1927 in Guilford County to the late Oscar and Floy May Holder Coley. She had retired from Dura-Tred Hosiery Mill after many years of service. Survivors include her sons, Bobby L. Jane Shephard of Alton, VA, Billy l. Judy Shephard of Burlington, grandchildren, Ernest "Tanker" Susan Shephard, Tommy Shephard, Catherine Timmy Stinson, Robin Hicks, Nickie Gene Parrish and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bruce Ronald Shephard, Benny Richard Shephard, her parents and several brothers and sisters. A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Alamance Memorial Park.
