Jackie Burrell

Mr. Jackie Robert Burrell, age 51, of 203 S. Gurney St., died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his home after several months of failing health. Born in Johnson City, TN, he was the son of Jack Burrell, who survives, and the late Pansy Hughes Burrell, who died in 2007. He worked in the field of construction and was a member of Holly Hill Baptist Church. Robert is survived by his father and step mother, Dolly Honeycutt Burrell of the home; two sisters, Betty Davis of Roanoke, VA and June Hunt of Mebane; and two brothers, Charles Burrell and George Daniel Burrell, both of Rocky Mount, VA. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Burrell family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell and Holly Hill Baptist Church for all the loving care given to Robert during his illness. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Burrell family.
