Burlington, NC Jack Irvin Brown, age 80, of Huffines Drive went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 21, 2008 at his home. He was a native of Guilford County and the husband of 34 years to Lelia Ann Huffines Brown who survives. Jack retired from Glen Raven Mills after many years. He was a member of Wicker Street Baptist Church where he served as an usher and was a member of the Adult Bible Class. Jack was a loving and devoted husband. Survivors include his wife of the home; sisters, Ada Lee Pickrell of Reidsville and Pauline Cook of Elon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby Brown of Elon, Clyde Brown of Browns Summit, Harvey Brown and his wife, Doris of Browns Summit and Worth Brown and his wife, Thelma of Browns Summit; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ollie Jones Brown and a brother, John Brown. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 23 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. Tommy Love.
