Irma Cozart

Burlington Mrs. Irma Wrenn Cozart, age 89, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 surrounded by her family at her daughter's home, Betty Hughes, after several months of failing health. She was born in Alamance County to the late Maxie Wrenn and the late Ollie Atkins Wrenn and was married to the late Clarence Columbus "Clint" Cozart who died in 2000. Irma was a homemaker and a member of CrossWay Church formerly Altamahaw Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by her daughters, Grey Stout of Graham, Betty Hughes and Edie Stuart both of Burlington; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Rhonda Cozart, Wade and Norma Cozart all of Burlington, Tony and Rhonda Cozart of Eden; grandchildren and spouses, Shirley Ronnie Whitesell, Greta Randall Blalock, Amy Howard Harvell, Kathy Jim Hall, Adam Brandy Cozart, Heather Cozart, Tim Jamie Cozart, Jennifer Cozart, Clint Cozart, Crystal Dave Mortensen, Anita Earp, Alex Stuart, Dustin Stuart, Jordan Joy Cozart and Carly Ian Bell and 15 Great Grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Daisy Eury, Sylvia Smith, Lynette and Ronald Hardy all of Burlington and Doris Ward of Elon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Annette Wrenn of Haw River, Iven and Elaine Wrenn of Elon; sisters-in-law, Cora Beth Wrenn and Carolyn Wrenn both of Elon. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson, Neil Stuart; brothers, Jack Wrenn, Hubert Wrenn, Jimmy Wrenn, Harry Wrenn, Roy Wrenn; sister, Norma W. Price; sons-in-law, John Stout, Walt "Tommy" Hughes and Jimmy Stuart. The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Monday, February 11, 2013 at CrossWay Church by Rev. Garry Yeatts and Rev. Joe Neyman. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends this afternoon from 4-6pm at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at Betty Hughes, the daughters' home. Irma will remain at Lowe Funeral Home until taken to the church to lie in state 30mins. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to CrossWay Church, P.O.
