Iona Harrington

Burlington-Iona Janet "Jan" Rogers Harrington, 68, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of the late James Franklin Rogers, Sr. and Alma Bradner Rogers.
Jan was a 1968 graduate of Walter Williams High School. She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church and most recently attended Davis Street United Methodist Church. She is survived by her brother, Kirk M. Rogers and wife, Amy of Elon; nieces, Ashley Kernodle and Lindsay Coltrane and a nephew, Chandler Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James F. Rogers, Jr.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Oaks and nurses and staff of Hospice for their kind and compassionate care for Jan.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:45-2:45pm prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
