Ingrid Fish

Mrs. Ingrid Maria Maier Fish, age 75, of Whitsett, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at her home after several weeks of failing health.
Born in Munich, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Mathilde Maier Birkenseer and the late Hans Birkenseer and was married to the late John Hamilton Fish, who passed in 2006. She was formerly employed with the American Consulate in Munich, Germany, a past executive secretary with BFW and was a longtime homemaker. She was of the Christian faith and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Fish is survived by her daughter, Nadja Fish Ford and her fiancé, Steven Brian Silver of Whitsett and two grandchildren, Logan Thomas Ford and Gabriella Maria Ford.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ben Bishop. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:45 Sunday afternoon prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
