Inez Wyatt

Mebane Mrs. Inez Jones Wyatt, age 96, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Alamance Health Care. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Harry Wyatt and daughter of the late Floyd and Busie Parish Jones. She was retired from Cannon Mills and a member of People's Memorial Christian Church. She is survived by daughters, Ethel Sumner and husband Dean of Graham, Elizabeth Wade Oldham and husband Carl of Burlington and Hilda Pore and husband Larry of Orange, CA; grandchildren, Joyce Hayes, Robert Sumner, Glenda Faye Robertson, Sandy Bennett, Clifton Jones, Jim Jones, Stephen Jones, Cindy Cobb, Ray Wade, Debbie Mann and Larry Pore, Jr.; 14 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sons, Jimmy Wyatt and Harry Wyatt, Jr.; sisters, Tezzie Shropshire, Flora White and Alva Hope. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 31, 2010 at People's Memorial Christian Church by Rev. John Shields and Rev. Walter Jones. Interment will follow in Haw River Cemetery. Mrs. Wyatt will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service.
