Inez Saunders Wrenn, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital. A native of Caswell County, she was born March 20, 1932 to the late Jonah Ware Saunders and Mary Elizabeth Shreves Saunders and was the wife of 59 years to James Vance Wrenn, Sr. who passed away in 2007.
Inez was a longtime member of Camp Springs Community Church. She was the owner of Pagetown Curb Market and worked many years for Burlington Industries Williamsburg Plant. Inez loved gospel music and annual trips to the Myrtle Beach Singing In The Sun. She faithfully served beside her husband in the Ruritan Club and enjoyed time spent eating with her friends. She was an avid Duke fan, cheering for them up until her final days. Inez was an independent woman who lived a very fulfilling life with many friends and acquaintances. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, J. V. Wrenn, Jr. and wife Pamela of King; grandchildren, Mickey Wrenn and wife Betsy, Amanda Rule, Dwight Watson, Jr. and wife Trish and Derek Watson and wife Carla; great grandchildren, Caleb Wrenn, Joshua Wrenn, Samantha Rule, Buddy J. Rule, Madelyn Watson, Savannah Watson, Amirabelle Watson, Ivy Watson and Eva Watson and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Dianne Watson East; son-in-law, Dwight Watson, Sr.; grandson, Buddy Hamlett; grandson-in-law, Sam Rule; brothers, William and Scott Saunders and a sister, Sue Geraldine Saunders.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Camp Springs Community Church by Rev. Darrell Massey with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at her residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Springs Community Church Cemetery Fund, 9168 Cherry Grove Road, Reidsville, NC.
