Inez McPherson

Inez Barnes McPherson, 94, formerly of White Kennel Rd. passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Twin Lakes. A native of Pittsylvania County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Blanche Crigger and D. Gary Barnes and wife of the late Willard Gordon McPherson for 55 years. Inez was a member of Bellemont United Methodist Church. Inez was a homemaker in the best sense of the word and she took great pride and joy in her role as wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. McPherson is survived by her sons Jeffrey McPherson and wife Cathy of Richmond, VA, Gary McPherson and wife Kim of Gibsonville and Duane McPherson and wife Vilija of Rockwell, NC; grandchildren, Ian and Katie McPherson and Alex Ratz; brother, Randy Barnes of Greensboro and special friends, Paul and Catherine Wrightsell, Michelle Wrightsell and Sarah Lambeth. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the May-Foley Chapel of Twin Lakes. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends and host a reception in the Peppertree Cafe at Twin Lakes.
