Mrs. Imogene Ingle Andrews, age 96, of 5324 Mineral Springs Rd., and formerly of Oak St. in Burlington, died Friday, September 24, 2010 at Liberty Commons after a year of failing health. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Adolphus Lee Ingle and the late Katherine Breeden Ingle and was married to the late Jesse Morris Andrews, who died in 2002. She was the owner of Oak St. Beauty Shop, which she ran out of her former home on Oak St., until she retired and was a charter member of First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Andrews is survived by her daughter, Linda Dodson and her husband, Clinton, of Graham; a grandson, Mark Dodson of Graham; two great grandsons, Tanner Dodson and Ryan Dodson of Graham; a sister, Helen Beasley of W. Palm Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and four sisters, Mae Tarleton, Lois Durham, Mamie Hauser and Vallie Shoe. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Monday, September 27, 2010 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Tim Robinson. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Monday afternoon prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
