Hubert Rigney

Hubert "Buddy" Rigney, 74, went home to be with the Lord after a brief illness on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Hospice Home. He was born in Guilford County to the late Rufus and Ila Thomas Rigney Snyder. He was married for 51 years to Judy Mabe Rigney, who survives. Buddy enjoyed spending time with his family, building things, and hunting, especially with his rabbit dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Judy, son, Mark Rigney; daughter, Debbie Rigney Haithcock (Scotty); grandson, David Wesley (Lanisha) Haithcock; sister, Irene Little and brothers, Glen Snyder, Lindsey (Paulette) Snyder and Larry (Cindy) Snyder.
The service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Larry Andrews with interment to follow in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
