Howell Terrell

Gibsonville, NC Howell S. "Pete" Terrell, age 90, of 400 W. Steele Street , Apt. 40, died Monday, January 30, 2006 at the Hospice Home. He was a native of Rockingham County son of the late William Raleigh and Addie Eva Hicks Terrell and a retired employee of Heritage Casket Company. He was a member of Julian Hill Primitive Baptist Church and Army Veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lena Ward Terrell of the home; a sister, Mrs. Vera Simpson of Asheboro and many neices and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Gladys Brown and Lucille Ward, and brothers James Terrell and Hanson Terrell. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P. M. Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Elder Richard Kirby and Elder Gleason Worrell. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 P. M. and at other times at the home.
