Horace Roger Carter

Horace Roger Carter, 78, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2019 at home. He was born in Caswell County, NC on October 26, 1940 to the late Harry Lee Carter and Hallie Webster Carter.

Horace was a retired farmer and electrician. He enjoyed old fast cars and fellowshipping with other car owners.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie McFarling Carter; daughters, Connie Carter and Susan Carter; son, Christopher Boswell; three grandchildren; brother, Joe Carter (Joyce) and sister Joan C. Bell. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Morris Carter.

A visitation to celebrate his life will be 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home .

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Church c/o Bobby Carter 206 Mise Rd. Yanceyville, NC 27379. The family will receive friends at Christopher Boswell, 335 Mise Rd. Yanceyville, NC 27379.
