Hope Lynette Kinley Rodney, 45, Saturday May 12th, Heaven Opened Pearly Entrance and welcomed home Hope. Hope was born October 23, 1966 in Guilford County to Pattie May Way and the late James Hoyt Kinley and was the wife of Mike Rodney. She was employed at UNCG in the Physics Department where all the Professors & co-workers embraced her compassionately throughout her surgery and ensuing cancer chemo battle. She was a member of new Life Community Church in Haw River, She is survived by her husband Mike Rodney, mother Pat May Way of Burlington, a brother Darrell Sharon Kirkman, niece Angela Kirkman Holt, aunts and uncles, Lou Woody Land, Carolyn Rich, Doris Cuddihy, Bernice Jim Gray, Eleanor Dunn, Charles May, John "Dick" Allen Kinley, Vernon "John Henry" Lee Kinley, a very endearing cousin Dawn McDaries plus a host of cousins. Hope adored her beloved canines Muffin and Tara. They loved her unconditionally. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister Sonja Kinley. The service to celebrate her life will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 230 Williamson St., Burlington, on Tuesday May 15th at 2:00 PM with Pastors, Rev. Ernest Beck, Rev. Olin Tatum and Rev. Mark Machia. Interment will follow in Midway Cemetery, Rankin Mill Rd. McLeansville, NC. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.. The family wished to express our sincere gratitude to the tireless efforts of Dr. Gitten, on Hope's behalf; and the nurses and assistants who attended to her every need. For every colleague, friend and individual who befriended Hope we humbly thank you. Thank you caregivers for everything.
