Hilde Fick

Hilde Martha Lehmann Fick, 93, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Markgroningen, Germany on May 10, 1922. Hilde was married to the late Robert John Fick for 57 years when he died in 2012. Hilde retired from Bosch Company in Germany. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, enjoyed bowling with the Senior Bowling Team; active in the Senior Games and the activities at the Kernodle Senior Center in Burlington. Survivors include her three daughters, Anita Hermann and husband, Helmut, Jennie Fick, Heide Anderson and husband, Mark; grandsons, Mike Gaura, Shawn Gaura and Kaleb Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; mother, Eugenie Schneider Lehmann; brother, Alfred Lehmann and sister, Erna Bernett. The funeral service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Nathan Hooks and Dr. Tommy Cook. The burial will be private at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
