Henry "Hank" Carlton Lawrence, Jr.

Hank Lawrence, 64, of Burlington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 6, 2023, in Hospice Care. He was born on September 9, 1958, in Alamance County to the late Henry Carlton Lawrence, Sr. and the late Ellen Turner Lawrence, and was the husband of Lynn Kistler Lawrence who survives.

Hank loved the outdoors and spent most of his life working in it farming, and in equipment repair. He loved spending time at his special place of Pine Knoll Shores, NC, and for years would chaperone his mother and special aunts for their yearly beach trips there.  He was a big guy, with an even bigger heart that loved his family and friends dearly.

Survivors other than his wife, Lynn, include his son, Tucker Lawrence of Leland, NC; a step- daughter, Corrie Anne Florence of the home; a sister, Jane Lawrence Love of Mebane, NC; a brother, Matt Lawrence (and wife Connie) of Mebane; several loved nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Stoney Creek Presbyterian Church (2140 Stoney Creek Church Rd) in Burlington. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall following the service.
