Helen Pruitt

Chapel Hill-Helen Hall Pruitt, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 5, 2015 at her home. She was born in Rowe, Virginia to the late Earl and Ocie Mae Keen Hall. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Curtis Hobert Pruitt. Helen was a nurses' aid for several years at Carolina Meadows and a graduate of ACC. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Curtis H. Pruitt of the home; son, Thomas A. Pruitt of Eden and grandchildren, Laura Gwen McKusker of Stafford, VA, James Jeremiah Pruitt of King, Andrew Shawn Pruitt of Winston Salem, William Curtis Pruitt of Chapel Hill; great grandson, John Wayne McKusker; brothers, James Hall and Roy Clayton Hall both of Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Willis Hall and sisters, Geneva Fuller and Dorothy Hall. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 11:00 am at Danview Cemetery in Eden by pastor Gary Grubbs. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
