Helen Collins

Greensboro - Helen Huffines Collins, 82, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Alamance County on August 12, 1934 to the late Boyd and Lessie May Huffines.

Helen retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco after 30 years and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Brown and husband, David; a son, Michael "Mike" Collins; grandchildren, Jamie Collins, Jessie Carroll, Ashley Brown and Collins Brown.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, June 26, 2017 at Alamance Memorial Park by The Rev. Nathan M. Finnin. There will be no visitation.

The family would like to express gratitude to all her friends at Carolina Estates, especially Rita, Dana and Jamie.
