Helen Agamemnon

Helen Preston Agamemnon, 84, of Graham died on Friday, December 9, 2005 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Long Island, NY, daughter of the late Arthur Jerome Preston and the late Alice Cecila Shields Preston and was married to the late George Joseph Agamemnon. She was a charter member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Burlington Womens Club. Mrs. Agamemnon was a former employee of Kayser-Roth hosiery and Woolworth. She was also a former Broadway dancer and prima ballerina. She is survived by her son, John Paul Agamemnon of Graham; two grandchildren, Kim A. Vaughn and her husband Richard of Burlington and Richie Agamemnon of Dallas, TX and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a son, Richard George Agamemnon. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Zbigniew Zajchowski O.F.M. Conv. officiating.
