Hazel Roberts

Hazel Clapp Roberts, 80, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Roberts was born September 10, 1930 in Guilford County to the late Harvey Luther and Bessie Barber Clapp. Hazel retired from Regent Lighting, was a member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, and a member of the Women of the Moose. Survivors include a son, Marshall Roberts and his wife, Kathy of Browns Summit; three grandchildren, Christina Roberts, Kevin Roberts and his wife, Ashley, and Bradley Roberts and his wife, Kim. Hazel was preceded in death by an infant son, Rodger Lynn Roberts; and a sister, Emma Faye Ammons. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
