Hazel Beal

Gibsonville Hazel Ruth Livengood Beal, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at her home following a brief illness. She was married for 68 years to the late Joseph M. Beal and was born September 1, 1915 to the late George Livengood and Bell Davidson Livengood. She is survived by her son, Jimmy M. Beal and wife Kathy of Elon; two daughters, Nancy B. Riggs of Gibsonville and Betty J. Sutton and husband Gurney of Ossippee and a sister, Sarah Walker of Greensboro. She has 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; three daughters, Elizabeth Allison, Judy French and Brenda K. Beal; a son, Bobby Dean Beal; a sister, Mamie Cable; three brothers, Frank, Charles and Chester Livengood; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Hazel was retired from Cone Mill and she was a member of Christian Life Assembly. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Gibsonville City Cemetery by Pastor Bruce Ritter. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home in Gibsonville.
